New Edition just concluded their US tour and they haven’t missed a beat. It’s safe to say they still have a few more tours in them. Add Jodeci, The Backstreet Boys, Boyz II Men along with others and you’ll find a renaissance of the boy bands who in their prime use to make the young girls' hearts melt. All these years later, the feelings are just as strong even though those girls are now women with children and grandchildren. Individual members of those bands have also been successful such as Bobby Brown, Ralph Tresvant, Bell Biv Devoe, K-Ci, JoJo and more. That indirectly keeps those brands alive and leads to a desire from their fans (mostly female) for those groups to hit the road again. Who knows how long this will last but one thing’s for sure, the chance to be young again which is the opportunity these groups offer just through their existence alone will never get old.
